Aviation Law. Christopher Andrews has experience in assisting attorneys in a variety of aviation law cases. He has assisted lead counsel in FAA enforcement actions of different types, helping defend professional aviators in these cases. Christopher is well-versed in utilizing the NTSB decisions database to find applicable NTSB board decisions in defending pilot certificate actions. Christopher also has obtained an LL.M. in International Aviation Law, which he completed in the International Aviation Law Institute at the DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. While at DePaul, he completed extensive course work in aviation law, including courses on Domestic Aircraft Accident litigation, International Aircraft Accident Investigation, International Aircraft Financing, and Public International Aviation Law. While at DePaul he was a member of the team that represented DePaul in the International Air Law Moot Court Competition (sponsored by International Institute of Air and Space Law of Leiden University in the Netherlands). At the competition In Jakarta, Indonesia, he was awarded with Best Oral Argument: Applicant. Christopher has devoted his life from a young age to understanding Aircraft Accident Investigation, Aviation, and Aviation Law. He is currently working toward obtaining his Private Pilots License.

Probate, Family Law, and Mediation. While In Law School, Christopher completed an extensive course on Mediation and has successfully mediated a client divorce. He also interned for the Honorable Judge Craig Block in the Iowa Courts Fifth Circuit: Probate Division. While interning for Judge Block, Christopher was exposed to a wide variety of family law and probate issues.

Stuart W. Smith specializes in aviation law with an emphasis on air crash litigation, insurance coverage issues and administrative law.  Stuart defends airlines, pilots, aircraft owners, mechanics, repair stations, aerial applicators and Part 135 operators from claims arising from aircraft accidents, environmental claims and FAA enforcement actions.  Before he became a lawyer, Stuart worked as a financial consultant for a well-known international investment firm where he developed an offshore facility for international investors to trade in the U.S. securities markets.  Stuart is an adjunct professor of law at Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon where he teaches Aviation Law.       

Stuart is an instrument rated private pilot with over 1500 hours.  When not at work, Stuart enjoys hiking with his wife in the mountains and on the beach, playing in the waters of Oswego Lake, and exploring the Pacific Northwest by small plane.  He is also addicted to fast cars.
